I have led large scale and complex cloud service development projects, such as the deployment of an AWS account provisioning solution that automated AWS account creation, deployment and configuration based on corporate and industry standard cloud security, quality, and compliance standards and guardrails. I am also responsible for the management and oversight of the Enterprise GCP cloud foundation, including project deployment, configuration and service enablement. Research and Understand Technology Trends
- Evaluate new cloud technologies to determine business value for Lilly. Provide practical advice and best practices to overcome these challenges and successfully deliver the expected business outcomes. Lead our Cloud Architecture Vision

- Collaborate closely with the Enterprise Architecture organization and the Global Information Services (GIS) lead architect to establish and drive an aligned enterprise architecture vision and roadmap.

- Partner with the Director of Cloud Engineering in the cloud architecture governance body to triage new technology requests and ensure Enterprise Architecture alignment and identify gaps in cloud architecture and design.

- Drive timely management of technology lifecycle needs across the cloud portfolio and communicate impact to the business IT functions
Reference Architecture
- Own and lead the development and evolution of cloud reference architectures, patterns and implementation frameworks in collaboration with other technology domain architects within and across information technology groups.
- Create materials for alignment and education. Steward the communications
- Promote the adoption and lifecycle management of key technologies represented in the reference model.
- Establish operational procedures for utilization of reference architectures and report on KPIs to assess business value.
Provide Cloud Architecture Guidance
- Align with applicable Local Architects and make recommendations to stakeholders about new technologies and trends.
- Make architecture recommendations based on experience, knowledge of use cases, objectives, and industry learnings
- Work with and help project teams align their solutions with the cloud architectural vision as well as the Enterprise Architecture standards.

PaaS/CaaS Engineer and Service Owner responsible for the technical design, development and implementation of on-premise Platform-as-a-Service and Container-as-a-Service solutions. I was responsible for researching, reviewing, evaluating, and testing on-premise Linux and Windows PaaS/CaaS solutions to identify there fit within our portfolio of on-premise application development solutions.
I lead a global cross-functional team of engineering, development, and operations team members focused on the development and support of an on-premise OpenShift Container Platform Service. The team consults, guides and educates business unit IT teams on new cloud native application development as well as re-platforming applications from legacy platforms to a modern application container based platform running on OpenShift.

- I owned, created and deployed a new internal VMware VSAN service offering within the virtualization services team. I authored the requirements, configuration and design documentation for the service, as well as, the service operational support documentation. I drove and championed the use of the VSAN based solutions within all new small site deployments requiring virtualization services infrastructure.
- I conducted a VMware Virtual Distributed Switch Proof of Concept evaluation to determine the feasibility and challenges associated with migrating from VMware Standard Switches to Distributed Switches within our global ESXi environment.
- Responsible for POC testing of VMware vCenter Operations Manager for View software to investigate possibility of the tool to function as centralized resource for View infrastructure capacity, performance and event monitoring and management.
- Service delivery manager for a custom developed IaaS offering and served as the liaison between IaaS portal developers and internal Global IT with regards to ongoing development, improvement of IaaS service capabilities and I oversaw the global rollout of the IaaS offering.
